Socioecological Model of a Military Family’s Health and Well-Being: Inside a Slovenian Military Family

The purpose of this article is to analyze the ecosystem a military family, focusing on risk factors that influence their health and well-being various socioecological levels (individual, micro, meso, macro). We develop theoretical model outcomes test it empirically using quota sampling 460 respondents from families in Slovenia. Thirty-three regression models were calculated measure impact theoretically defined families. Surprisingly, long daily commute, one most military-specific Slovenian society, viewed more positively than negatively. Moreover, related family micro individual levels, such as poor financial situation or parental stress, are responsible for greatest health. Meanwhile, spouses report work-related stress affects servicemembers’ overall increases possibility intimate partner violence.
